PokerStars Will Run Michigan Championship of Online Poker in September

The popular Championship of Online Poker (COOP) will be even more thrilling this year as PokerStars operates tournaments simultaneously from September 10-27 in three states, including Michigan.

The PokerStars COOP series will be available for players in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with $4.5 million in guaranteed prize pools across the three states.

The Michigan Championship of Online Poker (MICOOP) will offer $1.5 million in guaranteed prize pools in 65 events across the Great Lakes State, starting with play on September 10.

The centerpiece of the tournament is a two-day Main Event, with a $300 buy-in, beginning Sunday, September 26 to cap the PokerStars COOP. The MICOOP Main Event features a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. The Main Event winner will receive a COOP trophy in addition to their prize winnings.

Michigan poker players are afforded many options, including buy-in levels starting as low as $10, which allows competitors of all skills, levels, and bankrolls the chance to become a winner in the Championship of Online Poker.

This three-handed tournament is fast-paced and entertaining, with a randomized prize pool. Entries will be awarded Main Event satellite tickets until September 26.

Depositor Freeroll

Players in Michigan must deposit $30 or more and enter the promo code MICOOP until September 26 to receive a ticket to a COOP Depositor Freeroll. The Freeroll offers 50 Main Event seats.

Second Chance Freerolls

If a player plays a COOP event and doesn’t make the money, they will receive a ticket to a Second Chance Freeroll, and each freeroll offered in Michigan will hand out $5,000 in MICOOP tickets.
