Design Works Gaming (DWG) launched slots and its LuckyTap instant games in Michigan with BetMGM, Caesars, and DraftKings online casino apps, the company says.
DWG is known for its simple game design and ease of play. Its games began entering New Jersey online casinos in August via operator partners.
Michigan online casino partners received them next, with company posts saying so three weeks ago.
In DWG’s Aug. 24 announcement about its New Jersey titles going live with BetMGM Casino, the company said:
DWG first went live in New Jersey in December [2021] and has added licenses in the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut to its portfolio in recent months.
Design Works Gaming Titles Come to Michigan Operators
In Michigan, the most recent DWG title launches happened two weeks ago with Caesars Sportsbook and Casino and DraftKings Casino.
DWG’s LinkedIn posts about going live in Michigan with Caesars and DraftKings says both operators will have:
- Break the Bounty LuckyTap
- 10X Fortune
- Double Fancy 7s
When MichiganSharp checked the Caesars site today, all three games were there – with 10X Fortune listed as No. 2 among New Games. (The others were in Line 2 and Line 3 out of seven lines of new games.)
Three weeks ago, BetMGM Casino got:
- Test Your Strength LuckyTap
- Piggy Payouts Bank Buster LuckyTap
All of the titles DWG launched with its Michigan online casino operator partners are its most popular games, the company says.
BetMGM players will see more DWG titles “in the coming weeks,” the game developer said.
Indeed, DWG announced this afternoon that BetMGM gamblers can now play Detroit Lions Big Kick LuckyTap.

Today’s BetMGM release, Detroit Lions Big Kick LuckyTap, is similar to other DWG LuckyTap titles in that gamblers push a button and either win or not.
This game is different from other instant games in terms of visuals. A player “kicks” a football toward a goalpost. If the ball passes between the uprights, the gambler wins. There are no spinning reels.
In this case, the bettor is nominally playing for the home team – the Detroit Lions.
Considering the NFL team is performing rather well this season – second in the National Football Conference: Northern Division (NFC North) – BetMGM’s hope may be that the instant game inspires BetMGM Casino players to cross into the BetMGM Sportbook app and place a bet.
Checking Michigan BetMGM Casino today, MichiganSharp found Detroit Lions Big Kick LuckyTap listed as the No. 2 new title. The Goonies slot game – not from DWG – is No. 1.
